Professional Bio

Ilse Aimee Carrillo is a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Mexico and Texas. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice and a Master of Social Work from The University of Texas at El Paso.

Ilse’s professional experience includes community mental health, outpatient therapy, correctional treatment, clinical research, and private practice. Her work has involved assessment, treatment planning, individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, behavioral-health education, and care coordination.

Ilse takes a collaborative, holistic, and trauma-informed approach that considers each client’s experiences, values, goals, and mind-body connection. Her background in mindfulness and meditation supports an integrated approach to emotional wellness.
