Clinical Training Programs
At Buen Salud Inc., we are committed to supporting the education and professional development of future behavioral health professionals. We provide supervised clinical training opportunities for students, pre-licensed clinicians, postdoctoral professionals, and eligible psychologists pursuing advanced training in prescribing psychology.
Master's Level Internships
Clinical practicum and internship opportunities may be available for eligible master’s-level students completing educational requirements in counseling, social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, clinical psychopharmacology, or related behavioral health fields.
Postgraduate Licensure Supervision
Supervised clinical experience may be available for master’s-level graduates completing the clinical hours and professional requirements necessary to pursue independent licensure. Opportunities are based on supervisor availability, the trainee’s discipline, and applicable licensing-board requirements.
Postdoctoral Training
Advanced supervised clinical training opportunities may be available for doctoral-level psychology graduates completing postdoctoral experience or other supervised practice requirements.
Prescribing Psychology Training & Supervision
Buen Salud may provide clinical training and supervision for eligible psychologists pursuing prescriptive authority in New Mexico. Opportunities may include supervised experience related to clinical psychopharmacology, interdisciplinary care, patient assessment, treatment planning, medication-related clinical practice, and collaboration with prescribing professionals.
All placements and supervisory experiences are subject to supervisor qualifications, program requirements, placement availability, and applicable New Mexico licensing and regulatory requirements.
Academic Affiliations
Buen Salud Inc. maintains an academic affiliation with The Chicago School for eligible students in its Master of Science in Clinical Psychopharmacology program. The affiliation supports clinical training and supervised fieldwork opportunities at Buen Salud, subject to student eligibility, interview and acceptance, and placement availability.

If your institution does not currently have an agreement with Buen Salud, we may work with your academic program to explore and establish a Memorandum of Understanding, clinical affiliation agreement, or other required training agreement.
