Professional Bio

​

Crystal Heredia-Sanchez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor in New Mexico and Texas. A native of the Borderland region, Crystal earned her undergraduate degree with a minor in Educational Psychology and Counseling and her Master of Social Work from New Mexico State University.

​

Crystal began her career in mental and behavioral health in 1996. Her experience includes psychotherapy, psychosocial rehabilitation, case management, clinical leadership, policy development, administrative consultation, community mental health, inpatient psychiatric care, and private practice. She also provides clinical supervision to social workers working toward independent licensure.

Crystal believes that every individual and family possesses inner strength, resilience, and the capacity for growth. Her client-centered approach begins by meeting people where they are and building upon their strengths, experiences, culture, and personal goals.
